I got an early Christmas present. My wife commissioned a neighbor, who is an artist, to make a painting of Raistlin. Here is how it turned out.
Here is a closeup of his face.
Here is the head of the Staff of Magius.
The background is spells written in dwarven, elvish and draconic that he found on the internet. He baked the pages to give them an ancient feel.
Here is another shot of it.
I like the greenish gold. He had a hard time trying to get the skin gold. I like it. He refused to look at anyone else's drawings or paintings. He just wanted to go off of what the books said and the way that Carmen described him.
I have noted that when I type up DL on Google I find some really cool art and it shocked me beyond believe like wow. I really like how people the art for this site and the books are just mind blowing.
There was a book called The Art of Dragonlance out a few years ago and it show cased Larry Elmores work as well as that of other DL artists and I wish I had baught it when I had the chance because now I cannot find it anywhere. Not even online
