I opened this thread for all of my "Inn" mates, along with anyone else that might want to join in.
Just for fun, write a little story about your character that you have in the "Inn of the Last Home" thread. It can be backstory on your character, a new adventure, or some random piece about your character's life. For the sake of our gracious admin try to keep your submissions to less than 2500 words.

**Lindon went silent, very deep in his own thoughts eyeing the two grave markers**
"Can I lay the flowers down now Lindon?"
**Awaken from his deep thoughts Lindon looked up and smiled**
"Oh ah, yes go ahead Shellendrya..."
**She did so, one large bouquet for each one**
"Rest eternally Master Sarilban and enjoy it all with Halunakara"
"We need to go Lindon, Will is at The Citadel and is waiting for us"
"Yes you are right, but you know I had to do this, today of all days"
"Yes I know"

**It was not long before the two red robes were standing in front of Tryfan and Angelique's citadel. Both of them were gone now of course. Tryfan in the war and Angelique just passed away. Both her and Will had extended life upon them because of "The Eyes of the Wyvern" spheres that they possessed. Will was about to give his to his daughter and Tryfan and Angelique's son had hers. They entered the huge edifice**
"Well I was wondering if you two were ever going to get here"
**Tryfan and Angelique's daughter Tanya said**
"It took a little longer to pay my respects to my cousin Tanya"
"I understand, Will is in the library and he would like to see us. Mistress Galawain is with him"
"Then by all means lead the way"
**The trio made their way to the large library**

Very good names Fiz man and that is a very griping name for a War. There could be a whole entire story for that.

**He stood before The White Birch Tree where two markers were and semi-smiled, part out of happiness and part sadness. The Red Robe Arch-Mage was happy because his cousin was with his wife and sad because he was missing him**
"Hello my cousin's, I hope all is well with you. It is actually silly of me to say that since I'm sure that the both of you are very happy! It's hard to believe that it has been about two hundred and fifty years since we first found out that we are related. A lot has happened since then. We got to find a very large treasure of books, scrolls and artifacts at those forgotten towers. Who knew that there were so many still hidden all around Krynn. Then there was that infernal gods cursed "Mage Slayer War" which damn near destroyed us all"
**At this Lindon shook his head, and big major mistake in one god's making**
"My eldest son "Saril" is very content in keeping The Archives up and running and just like me very interested in all the acquired goods that have been recovered. "Katie" has been taking care of the mage ware shop in Solace until "Kaylar Dasrenvair" comes back from her quest..."

**The three Minotaurs looked at each other**
"It would seem that my suspicions were correct..."
**Voiced Ogwen then turned to face The Centaur**
"Captain, we have had dealings with this man and mostly not all on very friendly terms. I have a very strong feeling about those three pirate ships that attacked my sister and I. They normally do not travel in two or more ships. And he was the only one who knew of our shipment other that the merchant we are dealing with now"
**Captain Thane nods in thought**
"He is up to something other than our shipment. And I'm wondering how he knew about you and contacted you for a "job" "
"I met him in Port Balifor, he saw my ship and wondered if I was a member of the "Merchant's Guild" and if I used my ship for trade and shipments..."
"Then he saw your ship..."
"Yes he did"
"If you pardon me for speaking up captain..."
**Broke in Magdar**
"...but I'm a warrior and from that point of view, he seen and knows of you 'thunder weapons'. My thinking is he may be most interested in them. If any of those weapons or their like fall unto the wrong hands the balance will be tilted. No shipping would be safe and the seas would be ruled by pirates. Not to even mention if those weapons found themselves used on land as well... no cities or governments would be safe"
**Thane nods and he tighten his jaw a little, he was not happy being duped**
"If that is the case you have no worries my friends. For I would throw them over the side to sink into the bottom or scuttle my ship before anyone can get their hand on my cannons"

**Thane's ship was indeed eloquent, very functional but yet showed personal preferences geared for his size and stature. Once inside the Captain's Cabin the three Minotaurs were entreated with ordinate designs of a culture none of them ever seen**
"Very impressive Captain Thane, it has been a very long time my sister and I have come across any of your people"
**Ogwen finally spoke up**
"Yes indeed, as of the recent years we try to keep to our own. We tend to stay on or near our continent. I on the other hand am a little more adventurous and I like to do shipping trades and shipments. Please sit"
**Ogwen, Kurii and Magdar took a seat**
"I'm sure you have hundreds of questions to ask and I assure you that they will be answered. But first let use have a drink, what would you like?"
"Tea or some type of fruit drink will be fine for me Captain Thane"
**Ogwen answered**
"I will have the same, thank you"
**Kurii put in her reply. Thane then gazed at Magdar**
"Ale if you have any"
"That we do, Magdar is it?"
**The huge Minotaur was surprised but did not show it**
"Yes it is"
"Please do not be alarmed, I had a very close friend of yours aboard my ship once as I gave him and his companion passage to Taladas . He talked much of you and has a great deal of respect for you"
**The three close friends glanced at one another for a quick moment**
"To know so much of us, he indeed was a good friend of ours. If I had to take a guess, it was either Kalas or Khurn"
**The Centaur smiled and nods**
"Indeed it was Khurn..."
**They inwardly relaxed then. In due time the drinks were served to the three Minotaurs**
"Excellent ale Captain, a specialty of Adlatum?"
**Asked Magdar**
"Yes it is, one of my favorites"
"I will be the first to say what is on our minds, Captain. Our thanks to you for your help with the pirates, it was very fortunate for us that you were in the region"
**Ogwen spoke up**
"Yes indeed it was. We were headed for Taladas because we had nice shipping offer"
**Thane replied**
"Indeed, would you care to say the name of this generous business client?"
**Asked Ogwen**
"It could be someone we know and we can give you a high recommendation to them from us. It would help in negotiations on the shipment arrangements"
"It was a weapon similar to no, it wasn't. Actually it was no, it wasn't that either. It was closer to... almost a... rather it was sort of a lance, that's it! A lance! And it was quite good against dragons."

**Ogwen and Kurii arranged their ships tied to one another so as to be able to render assistance to one another. All the while Thane had cut sails to stay around the two ships. Ogwen then took the time to give the "White Stallion" her attention, it was truly a beautiful, magnificent and very well made ship**
"Ahoy on the "Sea Rose" I'm Captain Thane of the 'White Stallion', do you need any further assistance?"
**Ogwen then answered**
"On the White Stallion, I'm Captain Llynn Ogwen and your assistance with the pirates is much appreciated. Our deepest thanks to you Captain Thane!"
"Yes indeed, Captain Thane, I'm Captain Kurii "
**Thane gave both Ogwen and Kurii a salute of respect and both sisters gave theirs to him**
"You are most welcome Ladies, we merchant sea Captains should stick together more often these days. Once you have done your repairs to your ships Captains, and ready to set sail once again. I would like to invite you to lunch aboard my ship as honored guests before you head for your destination"
"We would be most honored to Captain Thane"
**Ogwen answered, she had to admit. She was most curious about 'Captain Thane' and "The White Stallion"**
**About an hour later Ogwen, Kurii and Magdar were on one of Kurii's crew launches and was alongside Thane's ship. Once tied up to his ship, Owen asked permission to come aboard**
"On The White Stallion, request permission to come aboard"
"Granted and welcome"
**Replied Captain Thane, soon all three were aboard Thane's ship. He came to them and greeted them and shook their hands**
"Please if you will follow me to my cabin, our meal is waiting for us"
**Added Thane. They followed him and they notice that as they were walking with Thane, his crew went about their duties and none followed them and The Captain**

**Kurii and her crew as well as Magdar and his men were fighting with the pirates that had boarded her ship. The fighting was very fierce as Magdar and his men gave no quarter**
"Standby"
**Ogwen shouted as the other pirate ship came by her ship. She saw how valiantly Kurii and Magdar were fighting. But she also knew that there were just to many of them. Ogwen refocused on the pirates that were about to board her ship when suddenly they heard the sound of thunder! But how can that be? There is not a cloud in the sky!**
**Just as the crew of the pirate ship was about to throw the grappling cables, there came extremely loud crashing sounds and parts of the pirate ship started flying apart. Pirates were tossed in the air as if they were a child's rag doll! Ogwen saw one of the main masts of the pirate ship up rooted and fall. She had to shield herself as well as her crew did from the flying debris and parts of pirate ship**
"What in the name of the gods is happening?"
**Was all Ogwen could say during all the chaos that is being reaped upon the pirates. And again they all heard the thunder. And more pieces of the pirate ship flew apart in a loud crescendo of crashing sounds**
**Before to long it was obvious that the pirate ship started to sink. And seeing their fellow comrades ship blown apart, the other pirates that were on Kurii's ship abandon their siege and took flight**
"Captain! the other ship!"
**Dokah called to Ogwen. She looked up from all the confusion and spied Thane's ship. She saw the flag of his ship lowered to half mast for a time then raised up. This happened a couple of times**
"Dokah, 'dip' our flag and signal Kurii to do the same"
"Aye aye, my captain"
**Ogwen gazed over the ship and spotted the wheel deck. What she saw was three men near the ship's wheel. The tallest one was barking orders, The Captain. A handsomely rugged one at that by human standards. But as she continue to look, No! not human!!!**
"By the gods, A Centaur..."
**She marveled a moment. She and Kurii had not seen one since they both were but middle aged teens on their father's ship**
"It was a weapon similar to no, it wasn't. Actually it was no, it wasn't that either. It was closer to... almost a... rather it was sort of a lance, that's it! A lance! And it was quite good against dragons."
