Hi fellow DragonLance fans! KrynnSub needs volunteers :)
Our group on deviantArt Krynn-Dragonlance embarked on a quest to make English subtitles of The Last Trial. Coconut-CocaCola organized and promoted the Facebook group Krunnsub and together the team accomplished their goal.
I am currently leading KrynnSub toward its next goal: To rewrite the songs from the Last Trial Fantasy Musical so that they may be sung in English. Since October 2014, the KrynnSub team has worked together to rewrite more than 15 of the songs.
Do you see where I'm going with this?
We need more English speakers to help us rewrite/edit the music and sing them as demos during the editing process. We need more creative minds, more poets, more singers, and more fans of The Last Trial to ensure this project's success!
Do you have an ear for rhyme and meter? Do you want to sing one of the songs we have rewritten? Do you want to edit others' work so that we can have the best possible results? Of course you do.
If you are interested in joining the team, please leave a reply or simply follow the link below to join our Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/543102019078595/

Ah to wish that I could! I absolutely love the hard work that "Coconut-CocaCola" did and as well as her group 'Krunnsub' on the translation of the opera vid. it is truly awesome!!! But my 'fine arts' capabilities are next to non-existent. Mayhap someone else will see this and apply. So until I'm told otherwise, I will leave this thread open...

Well I know nothing about music editing or anything like that, but I can sing...not good enough for an opera though. This is really cool though and I would love to hear and see the finished product.

If you sing, Dark Mage, then please consider singing an English demo for us! There will be plenty of opportunities coming up and you are free to make a demo for one or more of the songs. I would suggest looking at the first act and selecting songs based on your voice range.

If you have a much lower voice, the Kingpriest in the second act might be more appropriate, but we have not transliterated that act completely yet.
Give it some thought :) We will provide lyrics for the singers to use.
Thanks! |
