Hello all! Just thought I'd pop in and mention how much I miss everyone! Kiddo is now a little over a year and I still have no time to myself... lol! But seriously... how is everyone? |

Not sure what happened to Scanndalus. He got angry over my vote last election and de-friended me on Facebook!
I still have James, Smax, Gems, TKH, and Kalowen on there though. Probably a few others, but I don't recognize their real names

I've sent a Facebook thingy with all of them tagged, so they should get the message.

Sorry ya'll I've had a heck of a time with the whole Sequester thing. Did I mention that it has caused a huge unemployment spike because National parks can't keep their student employees. Yeah I'm now jobless after three years working for them. So yeah. That happened. Been keeping myself busy with school. One more year and I'm on to graduate school. Now majoring in Conservation Wildlife Biology. I. Love. It. I get to work with raptors sometimes....my favorite education bird is our Barn Owl named Cheyenne. Or maybe Phoenix the Harris' Hawk. I don't know I love all of them. :)
Other than that, got some trips planned for New Orleans in November and maybe Anaheim in June. Anyway. Really not much goin on down here in the land of the cotton.

Awww! Your dog is so very cute.
I would reply to the talks of missing people, but I feel somewhat awkward because I really have no idea who they are. But if you people that I know miss them, then I guess that some part of me does as well.
Also, Kalowen, that's really cool! I'm thinking of going into college to study that same kind of stuff, but I wasn't sure about job opportunities being very good.
That's all I guess. Also, I realized it's been a while since I've posted anything here...
"Raistlin!" It was Crysania's voice. Lifting his gaze, he saw her standing before him, holding his hands away from his face, her eyes wide and filled with concern. "I'm all right", Raistlin said coldly. "Leave me alone!" But, even as he spoke, he sighed and lowered his head again, shuddering as the horror of the dream washed over him. Pulling a clean cloth from a pocket, he began to dab at the wounds on his face. "No, you're not", Crysania murmured, taking the cloth from his shaking hands and gently touching the bleeding gouges. "Please, let me do this", she said, as he snarled something unintelligible. "I know you wont let me heal you, but there is a clear stream near. Come, drink some water, rest and let me wash these". Sharp, bitter words were on Raistlin's lips. He raised a hand to thrust her away. But then he realized he didn't want her to leave. The darkness of the dream receded when she was with him. The touch of warm, human flesh was comforting after the cold fingers of death. And so, he nodded with a weary sigh.
