This one will be a prequel to LOTR and I'm looking forward to it.

I am a huge LOTR fan and I'm really looking forward to seeing the Hobbit as a live action movie!

I'm pretty sure Peter Jackson is doing it. I also think that it's coming out in two parts, but I'm not completely sure. I hope it's true to the book, though.

Yeah. One year. I hope they eventually make Dragonlance into live action movies like they did with these great books. I'm just glad that they're making it, though! I mean, it's been a while since the first three movies were made.

I would actualy prefer if it were Del Toro directing it because he is an amazeing director and he would give a fresh face to the movie but if its Jackson...well at least he is familiar with the subject matter. I think that this point we can forget about there ever being a Dragonlance movie of any kind because if any producer ever sees the first animated film we will never get a chance.

Well, I still like to have hope, but the animated movie was pretty bad. Although, I found it extremely humorous myself. I couldn't stop laughing at it. Weren't there animated LOTR movies first, though too? Still, you're probably right about the movie thing. I refuse to give up hope, though...even though "hope is the denial of reality"....

Yes the Lord of the Rings had animated moves but here is the differance between them and the Dragonlance animated film. The LOTR ones were GOOD. Well at least the ones made in the 80s were good the one that came before them was garbage.

Oh, I never saw them. Yeah, I just found the Dragonlance animated movie very humorous, which it wasn't supposed to be...they really mocked a lot of the characters, changed the plot line, and what was the deal with the animation mixing? Needless to say, I was very amused after the feelings of disappointment passed.

Kiefer Sutherland as Raistlin = DEATH! You should see the two animated LOTR films they are pretty good, at least I think so
