Hey Everyone,

Warcry Network has posted an interview with Co-executive Producer John Frank Rosenblum, Margaret, Tracy, and Paramounts Chris Dreyer. Additionally there is a new video clip featuring Sturm.

I liked the lighting in that clip. For some reason it made me think of the Hobbit cartoon, not sure why.

Off topic, why is it when I do a search for "Dragonlance DVD", the official DVD site doesn't show up on the search results? For a page or so anyway.

Well, still choppy animation but we're used to it by now.

I found one thing interesting, Sturm had a very quiet and haunted voice. I think it could have done well as either Sturm or Tanis.

What does everyone else think?

Rufus the Draconian is now my favorite Dragonlance character and I've never even seen him.

I was very impressed by Mr Rosenblum's use of the word "despise". He could easily said some didn't like it, but he went a more honest way. KUDOS, Mr Rosenblum!

There was a part of Mr Hickman's interview that, I believe was word for word from a post he made here concerning the different media for telling a story. He does a great job conveying his thoughts.

I hope that Flint's VA isn't like that in the whole movie. Sturm's was spot on how I pictured him to be.

Oh, yeah, Rufus? We have Kang, Slith, Maranta and RUFUS? OK....

Bupu, you have been a good and true friend to me. You saved my life and the lives of those I care about. Now you will do one last thing for me, little one. Go back. I must travel roads that will be dark and dangerous before the end of my long journey. I cannot ask you to go with me.

For the record John Frank Rosenblum regularly writes for Southpark and is hilarious. I cant say for certain but odds are he's playing with the fans on this one. And if he's not...well its still funny.

I have no problem with it. Actually it is very funny and the viewers that have read a lot of the books (including the Kang's Regiment books) should get a kick out of it. I can't wait to see how he is introduced.

And I neglected to thank you for providing the link to this interview, Shane. I appreciate it.

Shane I am ever so glad to see your name on these boards again! thanks for stopping by. Now to watch this clip!

Edit: That was a cool interview! They addressed our question pretty well. I don't have sound on my computer today but the clip didn't look too bad. Even if a character wasn't the center of attention they were still being animated. tanis blinks and turns his head, and Sturm does something too all while Flint is talking.

And a Draconian named Rufus would be hilarious!

I hope the same. His voice sounds like typical "cartoon" voicework.

I am SO very excited to read that Weiss and Hickman made sure that the spell incantations were pronounced correctly!!!

That is really going to enhance my movie experience!!

Glad I read that - thanks for posting that article!!!
