It would be nice to see Robert when he was a badass and not fat. Besides that, so much of the early Targaryen history sounds SO interesting. =)

Not to mention Arthur Dayne and The White Bull. Would love to hear more about those guys. |

Dang, I don't know who is playing Stark more, the Eunuch or the nobleman that wants his wife. I know they are both playing him. I just don't know which one is worse. The Hound just made me like him a little bit. I hope that wasn't an act between him and his brother.

I think the Hound shows the strength of Martin's writing and the depth of his characters. He's not a good guy but for whatever reason I enjoy the character.

I agree Sirch.
Ah, Littlefinger is the nobleman that you're referring to Scann. Another great character. |

Yep, that's it.
Stark just told the King that he is a coward and is having to high tail it out and back to the North. Arya needs to be away from that damned Keep.
And Tyrion has unfortunately caught good guy disorder. He can still do jerk things, but he could have run off instead of saving Katlyn (sp?). She needs a good smack in the head. She is my second least favorite of the Starks.

Yeah Ned, Mr Honor.
Arya, Ms. Stick them with the pointy end. She rules. Catelyn, Mrs Human Pez Dispensor. (don't ask Scann , that's for Sirch ). She certainly needs a good smack. And she is one of the worst characters IMO. |

Cat and Sansa are horribly annoying.

I can't stand either of them. Cat just doesn't seem to want to use her head. Sansa is such a spoiled rotten little brat. It's hard to reconcile that she, is related to the other children.
Here's my problem with Ned and Robert. Robert knew what he was getting when he asked Ned to be his Hand. Hell, he told him that's the reason why he wanted him to be his Hand (so to speak). How can he be pissed when he does exactly as he was wanting him to do. He has his parrots; Ned is SUPPOSED to be the voice of reason.

That sucks man.
The Sansa POV chapters are tedious most of the time. But there are some very important political things in them that are necessary for the overall plot of the books. |

Not at all. He's a great character. Littlefinger is mischievous and intelligent. A character you love to hate. |

So Martin has 1100 pages he considers done on Dance and more that he doesn't consider completed. Another LONG book. Apparently he has his (ugly)cover for it too.
I can sort of understand why it is taking him so long to write. It's like he's writing four books and putting them in one. I'm sure glad he split up Feast and Dance, even if it has kept me away from some of my favorite characters.
