....I often wonder why some people prefer the darkness, the villains, the corrupt....

I must say I am definitely one of those people, Fizban. It seems that I pretty much always prefer those characters and things you mentioned. I guess the "good" and "heroic" can be sooooooo boring, while many darker and evil characters are complex, misunderstood, and very interesting...Not to mention more appealing.
"Raistlin!" It was Crysania's voice. Lifting his gaze, he saw her standing before him, holding his hands away from his face, her eyes wide and filled with concern. "I'm all right", Raistlin said coldly. "Leave me alone!" But, even as he spoke, he sighed and lowered his head again, shuddering as the horror of the dream washed over him. Pulling a clean cloth from a pocket, he began to dab at the wounds on his face. "No, you're not", Crysania murmured, taking the cloth from his shaking hands and gently touching the bleeding gouges. "Please, let me do this", she said, as he snarled something unintelligible. "I know you wont let me heal you, but there is a clear stream near. Come, drink some water, rest and let me wash these". Sharp, bitter words were on Raistlin's lips. He raised a hand to thrust her away. But then he realized he didn't want her to leave. The darkness of the dream receded when she was with him. The touch of warm, human flesh was comforting after the cold fingers of death. And so, he nodded with a weary sigh.

I think it is because the reader/viewer gets to see both sides of the story. So we know the motives behind the wickedness. Not saying that a fathers bad parenting skills should lead to the destruction of a small town in New Mexico and half of Manhattan....but I can see why he did it.
@Raist....they are also damn hot!!!!

It's hard to say which one is the best yet, but I'm inclined to say the latest Avengers movie is the best one just because they managed to tie up all those plot lines in a meaningful way. I also liked Logan, Deadpool, and Guardians of the Galaxy. |

Deadpool was awesome but Black Panther was also good...despite some unfortunate pitfalls.

besides IM2, I'm really curious to see what they will do with Thor. I was never a fan of his growing up. But the Hulk vs. movie with him was pretty cool. I'd watch him lay the smack down during Odin Sleep. A whole bunch of Giants, Trolls, and other crazy fantasy creatures getting their butts handed to them by that big ol' hammer! It would be a totally different film. And I'm also really curious to see how they plan on getting that kind of movie to jive with Iron man's universe. Hulk seemed to fit in fairly well. But it is going to take a pretty big leap of faith to get Thor to be real. Maybe they can introduce some of those fantasy elements, like magic, into the next Tony Stark adventure...
